Nayan Nilim to star in upcoming movie based on Aizawl FC
Aizawl FC Movie: Nayan Nilim, the Assamese actor who gained much fame after his role in Junbai will now be making his debut in the Bollywood.
Yash Raj Films one of the country’s top movie production house will be making a full-length football movie on the present I-League champions the Aizawl FC.
The football club has already come to an agreement with a Bollywood film producer Tarun Rathi, to make a movie on their heroic win in this year’s I-League Trophy.
Nayan Nilim will also be playing an important role in this film.
In his recent Facebook status also, he wrote about making the movie on the football clubs journey from being Zero to Hero expressing his gratitude towards them as well.
The owner and president of Aizawl FC Robert Royte, expressing his views said that the movie won’t be just limited to their football club and the people of Mizoram but it’ll surely help in boosting the Footballing culture in the entire country.
The producer of the film Tarun Rathi said,”The historic win of top league of the country by the unknown low budget club of Aizawl FC deserves worldwide recognition visibility. Together with Aizawl FC, we can go a long way in serving the people of Mizoram and Northeast through the said Bollywood film. We will start the work soon.”
The show stopper of this movie as the producer said will be none other Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgan himself who’ll be seen in the role of the coach in this movie.
A little about Aizawl FC
Formed on February 14 in the year 1984, they earned the entry in India’s top-tier league the I-League 2015-2016, after winning I-League 2nd Divison in the year 2015. They also became the football club from the Northeast India to win the prestigious I-League title.
They created History by becoming Champions of the I-League on 30th April 2017 and made its mark over the Indian Footballing Fraternity.
