The recently released BTS (behind-the-scenes) footage of Vikramaditya Motwane’s latest film Trapped has shocked the viewers with the team’s level of commitment to the art.

The video contains bits of interview excerpts from the crew involved intimately with the film and these expresses the dedication of the crew to the film-making process.

Motwane, who has previously helmed the award-winning coming-of-age film Udaan as well as Lootera, is full of praise for the leading man Rajkummar Rao for his acting.

Rao, well known for his acting chops, himself admits to the challenging nature of this role. There are several scenes of gruesome realism as well as exploration of the human psyche and he had to push himself to  the extremes to bring the nuances alive. Rao, who is a vegetarian, also had to eat meat and make it look natural.

The film, which is set to release on the 17th of March 2017 had received a Standing Ovation at its premiere at the Mumbai Film Festival. Catch the trailer here.
